2019 Yard Waste Pick Up Begins April 8th
Place compostable bags of yard waste, bundles of brush and reusable yard waste containers next to garbage carts by 6:00 a.m. on your regular garbage collection day.
- Use Kraft paper bags or compostable plastic bags labeled with the BPI logo (see it here). State law prohibits using conventional plastic bags for yard waste.
- Reusable trash cans are also permitted, see details here for permissible sizes/weights
- It’s against the law to rake leaves into the street (and bad for our lakes, creeks and river).
